The Barrington School District is thrilled to announce our
1:1 Chromebook initiative beginning this school year.  All students in grades K-8 will be provided with a Chromebook device, which is similar to a laptop.  Students in grades 2-8 will be issued a Chromebook for use inside and outside of school.  Students in grades K & 1 will utilize Chromebooks in their classrooms.  Parents and students will be required to read, sign and return the "Student Chromebook Guidelines" usage agreement before a parent can pick up their child's Chromebook.  No Chromebooks will be issued without this completed paperworkAgain, please be sure you have brought your completed usage agreement form, signed by both you and your child.  The agreement can be found on the last page of this packet.  After you pick up your Chromebook, it should be kept in the case that it was given to you in, at all times. Students should be using this case to bring it back and forth to school.   Chargers should be left at home, and used to charge the Chromebook each night.

Applications for Free/Reduced Meals can be submitted via the Parent Portal at http://www.barringtonschools.net/parentportal.   If you are unable to complete the application online, a paper packet may be picked up at your child’s school.  Click here to view detailed directions on how to complete the application online.
